Why This Women’s Health Dietitian Gave Her Website a Glow-Up

If you’ve ever landed on a website that felt outdated, confusing, or like it didn’t get you… well girl…same. That’s exactly how I felt about my old site. It technically worked. You could book a session, sign up for my Pretty Plates Club, read a blog or two, but it didn’t reflect what I actually do for women every single day.

So I decided it was time for a major glow-up. Not just for me, but for you.

What Wasn’t Working Anymore

My old website was built when I was still figuring out who I wanted to help. It leaned generic, “nutrition counseling,” “meal plans,” all the standard dietitian stuff. The problem? That’s not what I’m about.

I’m not here to hand you a restrictive diet or tell you to count calories. I’m here to give you structure that still feels flexible, meal plans that support real life, and medical nutrition therapy that actually meets women where they are.

My old site wasn’t saying that loud enough. So thus, the glow up began!

What I Wanted the New Website to Do

When I mapped out the redesign, I asked myself: how can my website actually help women in real life?

Promote food freedom. Meal plans don’t have to equal dieting — I wanted to show how structure and flexibility can co-exist.

Support meal planning for a week. Meal planning shouldn’t feel overwhelming. You’ll now find structured tools like Pretty Plates Club and templates that make planning easier.

Highlight medical nutrition therapy. From PCOS to pregnancy, women deserve personalized nutrition care.

Behind the Scenes of the Rebrand

I wanted the design itself to feel like my practice: calm, approachable, and supportive. I did this with creative choices like:

  • Colors that feel nourishing.
  • Fonts that look chic but not clinical.
  • Photos that reflect my actual clients: women navigating busy lives and wanting to feel good again.

What You’ll Find on the New Site

Here’s what’s new:

  • Meal Planning Hub: A central home for Pretty Plates Club and realistic weekly meal plan recipes.
  • Private Nutrition Counseling: My 1:1 support for women who want a personalized meal plan, intuitive eating guidance, or fertility-focused nutrition.
  • Food Freedom Resources: Blogs on how to stop obsessing over food, heal your food relationship, and ditch diet culture stress.

Why This Matters

This redesign isn’t about prettier fonts (though let’s be real, they are cute hehe). It’s about clarity. I want women to know exactly what I do:

  • I help you plan meals without dieting.
  • I support women’s health with real science.
  • I give you tools so you can stop running on fumes and actually feel good again.

Because at the end of the day, my website isn’t about me. It’s about creating a space where you can find the resources, plans, and support you’ve been Googling at 2 a.m.

Explore the New Space (eeek!!)
