MEET NUTRITION THERAPY PRACTITIONER CLAIRE RIFKIN, MS, RD

You don’t want to work with a

who tells you to skip happy hour.

Registered Dietitian

Or shames you for *anything* related to food, alcohol, or fun, for that matter.

MEET NUTRITION
THERAPY PRACTITIONER CLAIRE RIFKIN, MS, RD

I became a dietitian because I saw too many women walking around underfed, overwhelmed, and convinced that food was something they had to fight or control. I became a dietitian because I wanted to be the person who says, “you’re not broken, and you’re not alone.”

and I didn’t become a Registered Dietitian to tell women what they’re doing

Hi, I'm Claire —

MY WORK IS ROOTED IN SCIENCE, BUT CARRIED BY COMPASSION.

I believe you deserve to feel nourished, energized, and supported — without shame, without restriction, and without being told to erase the parts of yourself that make you, you.

Because at the end of the day, food should work with your life, not against it. And your body? It’s the least interesting thing about you.

wrong.

MEET CLAIRE RIFKIN

I won’t lie —

I fell deeeep into
the “wellness girlie” rabbit hole.

I know you know what I mean 👀 we’ve all been there, haven’t we?! Trying every supplement under the sun, pretending like the endless tea cleanses worked, dabbling in all the woo-woo stuff that promised quick fixes…

Now, I know better.

Once I quit my corporate job to pursue my passion of becoming a Registered Dietitian, I realized that what actually renders lasting results is a science-backed, evidence-based approach (even if it's not as glamorous as the wellness influencer life).

Now, I’m on a ✨mission ✨to help other women skip the expensive, exhausting wellness detours I took and go straight to what works.

SPEAKING OF MY MISSION—

I became a Dietitian to help women…

Replace food confusion with confident nourishment through personalized, evidence-based nutrition therapy that addresses both the 'what' and 'how' of healthy eating.

Feel nourished, energized, and at home in their bodies — without shame, restriction, or unrealistic rules.

Stop feeling like sh*t, start feeding themselves in a way that works, and feel good in their bodies, without cutting carbs, canceling brunch, or quitting life.

Figure out how food makes them feel and appropriately fuel their brains so they can do the things they want to do.

Claire's Core Values

As a Registered Dietitian, Nutrition Therapist, and self-proclaimed champion of girlies in their thirties who don’t know how to properly feed themselves, I have some strong opinions about how to approach women’s health and nutrition.

& it’s important that I tell you exactly what I believe in, so you can make an informed decision about whether or not I’d be the best Dietitian for you!

I <3 science.

I’m not pro or against weight loss; I’m pro bodily autonomy.

I would never assume things about your body or your health.

“Wellness” isn’t just green juice, sea moss, and a tan.

I’d never judge you for a damn thing.

There’s no such thing as “good” or “bad” food.

Food is fuel, pleasure, and connection — not a moral test.

I believe in patient-centered care.

6am

Rise and shine!

I never thought I was a morning person, but something shifted for me after entering my 30s, and 6am is the time that just works for me. It gives me enough time to eat (and digest) before my morning workout. I hate being feeling rushed in the morning, so I’d rather wake up early and have a chill morning.

a day in my life as claire Rifkin Nutrition

6:30am

Pre-workout snack and coffee

I’ve been putting cinnamon in my coffee lately and its been such a cozy addition to my morning. Also I eat instant oatmeal with some type of fruit on it as my pre-workout snack. Variety is incredibly important in your diet, but sometimes you just need practical fuel that you don't need to think about.

7:30am

Workout time!

Last year I was in my running era, and training for the NYC marathon. I’m still a runner girlie, but lately I’ve been doing strength training half the week and running the other half (with rest and recovery days on weekends of course)!

8:30am

Shower & get ready for the day

I’m also usually eating a greek yogurt + kiwi here for some post workout fuel!

9:15am

Review patient charts

I always like to review what clients I have on my schedule for the day ahead and double check if I need to prepare any extra handouts or visuals for them to use in our session.

10am

First client of the day!

Was working with a client living with ADHD. We have been working on reframing what a meal can actually look like. Like instead of a “perfect” looking lunch, what if lunch looked like a bento box of “snack” foods that you could graze on over the lunch hour.

11am

Mid-morning snack in between clients

I’ve been loving having scrambled eggs with arugula, hot honey, and chili oil, wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla!

12:30pm

Second client of the day

We are working on decreasing LDL cholesterol and also managing PCOS symptoms.

1:30pm

Break for lunch

I've been loving making a chickpea tuna salad for lunch. It's super quick to throw together and I usually eat it with some crackers and a side of fruit.

2pm

More clients!

We covered eating while traveling, some body image processing, and low effort dinners.

5:45pm

Catch up on charting

It's super important to keep track of what we talk about in session! Charting is how I actually measure progress and see how far my clients have come in our work together. It’s actually amazing seeing how much progress the women I work with make. They are putting the work in!

6:15pm

Quick brand meeting

...to go over deliverables for a social post—it’s a fun part of my job getting work with brands. I only ever promote products that I genuinely use and love AND are science backed. You’ll never see me out here promoting a detox tea. Sorry!

7pm

Last client of the day!

A running client! We finalized her race day fueling strategy!

giving up your social life,       giving into fad diets,       constantly promising to start over again on Monday.

let's work together

YOUR LIFE DOESN’T HAVE TO SUCK WHEN YOU WORK WITH ME

No

no

no

Working with a Dietitian can feel like a scary next step, especially if you’re used to “nothing working for you” or you’re under the impression that they’re going to make you cut out all of the best parts of your life, like butter or booze or brunch-time yaps.

When you work with me, though? Change can be comfortable.

We’ll develop a personalized plan to include all the things you love, while being mindful about how much of those things to include, what else we can add to help you reach your goals, and what you’ll need to do to make sure you stick with it.
